#1 Impressive range: 500 km
The Suzuki eVX will be equipped with a 60kWh battery enabling user to achieve 500 km+ range on a single charge. The range is commendable for this segment which will be competing with Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS. Suzuki eVX will support fast charging, that means you can charge your Suzuki eVX from 0 to 80% under 30 mins. I believe this feature is becoming more necessary across the globe to adopt the EV.
#2 Futuristic Design
Honestly the Suzuki eVX does not look at all a vehicle from Suzuki. From outside it more modern, tough and gives feeling of a Mini Tank! As Suzuki eVX is an electric vehicle we can expect plenty of space in the inside, due to absence of transmission bay and no engine! I expect that the battery will be placed underneath the car but more details will be revealed in early 2025. The design of Suzuki eVX is fresh and it is based on Toyota's Heartect-e platform. This platform will be used by Toyota, Suzuki and Daihastu, therefore you will also a Toyota Urban cruiser EV soon. The Suzuki eVX is sub 4 meter SUV and driving in Cities will not cause any issue.
#3 Advanced Features
The Suzuki eVX is based entirely on a new platform, therefore there is a plenty of room to include modern features. It will have Automatic Transmission that will make your driving experience smooth and effortless. I can expect that the Suzuki eVX will come up with ADAS system, at least level 1, Smart app connectivity that allows you connect to the car with your smart phone, Fast charging, Digital displays, Android and Apple car play. Also Suzuki eVX will have regenerative braking, that means the Suzuki eVX can charge when you are decelerating. There are my speculations however we will get more detailed insights in early 2025. Not to forget, that the Suzuki eVX will have sustainable materials in the interiors.
Summary
In Summary, Suzuki takes time to introduce any new vehicle especial in India with Maruti Udyog, however they place the product in such a way that it becomes trend. For example Brezza, Swift Dezire, Ertiga, Baleno to name few. Similarly we can expect the Suzuki eVX to be a trend setter car and challenge the dominance of Tata Nexon EV in the sub 4 meter SUV segment. From price point of view I expect the Suzuki eVX priced around Rs 15 Lakhs ex-showroom. I am excited to hear more about Suzuki eVX in the upcoming weeks.
Let me know what are your thoughts on Suzuki eVX and will you buy one?
