A renowned name in the Indian motorsport Abhishek Vasudev, clocked the Ultraviolette F99+ in an impressive 10.712 seconds at Valley Run event in Aamby Valley, Lonavla, Pune. Ultraviolette uses inhouse developed cutting edge technology along with the innovation to achieve this amazing result. To give you a context how fast the Ultraviolette F99+ is, a 2012 Yamaha YZF-R1 can do the quarter mile in 10.24 seconds, 2011 Ducati Panigale 1198 can do the same run in 9.84 seconds. So one imagine how fast Electric motorcycles can go, thanks to less moving parts compared to ICE engines.

#2 Specification about the F99+

The Ultraviolette F99+ can go from 0 to 100 km/h under 3 seconds! Wait, there is more, from 0 to 200 km/h in under mind blowing 10 seconds! The Ultraviolette F99+ can achieve top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph), thanks to its 90 kW liquid cool electric motor producing a mind boggling 972 Nm of Torque! Which is close to double that of produced by Toyota Fortuner which produced 500 Nm with its 2.8 liter diesel engine. The Ultraviolette F99+ uses Lithium ion battery with cell-level fuse technology to enhance its safety. Besides that Ultraviolette F99+ is equipped with light materials like carbon fiber to keep the body weight undercontrol.
