Top 10 Vehicles Showcased at Bharat Mobility 2025

Bharat Mobility 2025 in New Delhi turned out to be a spectacular showcase of innovation, sustainability and cutting edge technology in the automotive world. I am glad that the vehicle manufacture companies showcased their upcoming product portfolio and not just limited to concept cars that will not end up on road. Here are top 10 vehicles that grabbed the attention of everyone.

#1 Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara

Maruti Suzuki's first fully electric vehicle is here, the Suzuki e-Vitara. The e-Vitara has made waves with its all new Heartect e-Platform jointly developed with Toyota. Maruti Suzuki known for its high reliability with lower maintenance is set to shake the EV segment of Indian car market. The e-Vitara will be manufactured in India and exported to the rest of world as announced by Suzuki management earlier. The e-Vitara is expected to cover 500 km and churns our 185 bhp which is amazing! The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will be priced aggresively and we can expect to be between Rs.15 to Rs 20 lakhs (€16.000 to €22.000). The e-Vitara will hit the market in late 2025. I think we will also hear similar product form Toyota e-Urban Cruiser in upcoming months.

#2 MG Cyberster

First 2 door convertible launched in India by MG the Cyberster has caught our attention to include in this list. The MG Cyberster was showcased in an event last year and it is already launched in Global Markets. The MG Cyberster has scissor doors and first ever Oil cooled electric motors showcases MG Cyberster's ability to have some serious performance figures like 335 Bhp/ 475 Nm (Single Motor) and 537 Bhp/ 725 Nm (Dual Motor) at amazing price tag of Rs. 50 lakhs only! (€56.000). The bookings for MG Cyberster will be open in March 2025 and deliveries might start from end of Q2 2025.

#3 Hyundai Creta Electric

India's most selling SUV Hyundai Creta will be available in its all Electric avatar! The Hyundai Creta electric is capable of covering 473 km in a single charge. The Hyundai Creta Electric will be available with 2 battery pack options 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh producing 133 bhp and 169 bhp respectively. WIth DC charger the Creta Electric can be charged to from 10% to 80% in 58 minutes! Surprisingly the Creta Electric will be priced from Rs. 17.99 to Rs. 23.50 lakhs (€18.000 to €27.000) which is almost similar priced at its ICE powered vehicles. It is expected to hit roads in early 2026.

#4 Tata Sierra

The legend that started the trend of SUV's in late 1990 with its 3 door set up back! The most awaited Tata Sierra will be launching in mid 2025. The Tata Sierra has its some of the key elements with 5 door set up will be loaded with most modern features and powertrains. The Tata has confirmed that the Sierra will be available in ICE as well as Electric powertrain options. The expected pricing of Tata Sierra is between Rs. 15 lakhs to Rs. 20 lakhs (€16.000 to €22.000) and will be launched mid 2025.

#5 Mahindra XEV 9e

The most futuristic yet a production vehicle Mahindra XEV 9e has been launched few weeks before the Bharat Mobility Expo. The Mahindra XEV 9e caught everyone's attention due to its design, features and pricing. We have covered the figures in our first blog you can check here. The Mahindra XEV 9e is priced from Rs. 21.90 lakhs to Rs. 30.50 lakhs (€22.000 to €35.000). Its younger and more sportier sibling Mahindra BE 6e was also showcased ranging its price from Rs. 18.90 lakhs to Rs. 26.90 lakhs (€22.000 to €31.000). Both Mahindra XEV 9e and BE 6e will be available for booking from 14th February 2025 and the deliveries will start from March 2025 onwards.

#6 Mercedes-Benz Electric G-Class

The iconic gangster Mercedes Benz G-Class (we all know as G-Wagon) will be launching in India in its electric variant. The Mercedes Benz G-Class will be equipped with 122 kWh battery pack with its four electric motors is able to churn out 579 bhp and 1165 Nm of torque! The Mercedes Benz G-Class electric is able to reach 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds. The Mercedes Benz G-Class Electric version will have same off-roading capabilities as of its ICE powered variant. The Mercedes Benz G-Class Electric version will be available at price of Rs. 3 Crores only! (€336.000)

#7 Gensol Ezio

Gensol Ezio, its an 3 wheeled electri vehicle currently available on sale only for fleet owners such as taxi companies. However it is claimed by the Gensol company that the Ezio will be availble on sale for domestic users like us in upcoming year. The Gensol Ezio is a 3 wheeled electric vehicle with 2 doors and 2 seat configuration, offering an amazing boot space that most of premium hatchbacks or sedans can not offer. The Gensol Ezio is able to cover 200 kms on single charge with a top speed of 80 kmph. The Gensol Ezio is not at all a compromised vehicle on the cost, as it offers Air conditioning, panaromic sun roof, LED DRL's, Alloy wheels, Infotainment display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. On top of it the Gensol Ezio also offers in cabin driver assistance technology, AI driven cloud analytics with layered dashboard. The price of Gensol Ezio is yet to be announced, but the vehicle will be availbe on sale from mid 2025.

#8 BYD Sealion 7

BYD is set to launch a bunch of electric vehicles in India and Sealion 7 is one of the most awaited electric vehicle in Indian car market. The BYD Sealion 7 is an electric SUV equipped with 82 kWh battery pack resulting in 500 km range in a single charge and producing 522 bhp. The BYD Sealion can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph just in 4.5 seconds making it one of fastes SUV's available on sale. The BYD Sealion 7 is equipped with LED headlamps 19 inch alloy wheels and in the interiors are stiched with white Nappa leather and panaromic glass sun roof in addition to 15.6 inch rotatable touch screen. In terms of safety the BYD Sealion is equipped with ADAS and 11 air bags. The Sealion 7 will be available on sale in 2025 at Rs. 45 lakhs (ex showroom). The BYD Sealion is not availble with the DiSus-X suspension system as other high end BYD U9, U8 vehicles, capable of jumping and 360 rotation.

One more vehicle from MG will be coming soon in Indian car market the MG IM 5. The MG IM 5 is the direct competirion to BYD Seal which is capable of achieving 800 km on a single charge churning out 778 bhp and 465 Nm of torque! The MG IM5 offers modern interiors with yoke style steering wheel, dual touch screen setup that includes a massive 26.3 inch central touchscreen and 15.5 inch co-passenger display. The MG IM 5 comes with a 21 speaker sound system, dual zone climate control and wireless phone chargers. It is expected that the MG IM 5 will be launched early 2026 at Rs. 35 lakhs (€40.000).

#10 Vinfast VF7

Vinfast a Vitnamees electric vehicle manufacturing company is set to launch in India various electric vehicles in late 2025. One of the interesting car is Vinfast VF7 an electric SUV that combines futuristic yet subtle exterior design with modern technological features. The Vinfast has received criticism from automotive journalists over youtube on its quality and software issues. However the Vinfast has rolled up its sleeves and converted the criticism into a constructive feedback. The Vinfast VF7 is expected to be available on sale in late 2025 at a price of Rs. 35 lakhs (€40.000).

Overall it was a challenging decision to select these 10 most awaited vehicles in our list. I have short listed these vehicles based on its legacy, innovativeness and actual launch timelines in India commented by the respective officials.
